Thank you so much for your interest in Danielle Sara Photography! We are so passionate about what we do and about creating beautiful art for you to display in your home. We specialize in creating modern portraits of maternity, newborn, baby’s first year, children and families. Our goal for your custom photography session is to create compelling, quality portraiture that lasts a lifetime… and tells your story!

Danielle Sara Photography was started in 2010 and has grown to provide both in-studio and on-location options. Her work has been loved by hundreds of families in the DC area. Danielle is a graduate of the Washington School of Photography and has spent the last few years specializing in newborn and baby photography.  Her membership with the PPA and NAPCP provide a continuous source of education and inspiration. She is also a volunteer for the Magic Hour Foundation.

“Being a mother has reaffirmed the importance of capturing the moments that pass by to quickly. I want to document these memories for you; so you can remember how your newborn smells at one week old,  how your little girl’s eyes sparkle, and how your baby’s wide, gummy smile makes you melt. These are your family heirlooms. To me, it is increasingly important in this digital age to print what we want to preserve, so my studio is focused on offering high quality products and amazing portraiture.”

We hope looking through our website brings a smile to your face. We look forward to meeting you and exceeding your expectations!

Sarah is our Studio Manager and Associate Photographer.  She specializes in-home lifestyle newborn sessions, birthday parties, as well as pet sessions.

With her innate photographer’s eye, Sarah began amateur photography early on, winning 3 regional photography awards and one national photography award by 2008.  She is a graduate of the prestigious Washington School of Photography, and she also has been a resident photographer of newborns at a local hospital.

Sarah has two dogs, Toby and Roo, who keep her on her toes!  She dedicates almost all of her free time to photographing rescue animals in the hopes of finding them their ‘furever’ homes. She works directly with the Humane Rescue Alliance and Rural Dog Rescue.  For any families wanting to incorporate their furry friend into a session, Sarah would be a perfect fit.
