Maryland Child Photographer | a Fun matching pajamas session

After watching these two sisters play, laugh, and jump together, I was wishing that I could have that kind of energy! It was infectious. They had me giggling right alongside them. I had so much fun with this family for their Pajama themed Pearachute Mini Session.

An Adorable Family in Matching Pajamas

The whole family (including their adorable puppy!) dressed in matching pajamas and looked like they just stepped out of a catalog — except even cuter! These sisters really knew how to pose with their cute little smiles (big sister lost her very first tooth, and that added even more charm to the pictures). Some kids are a little shy in front of the camera, but these two were ready to be featured in their very own photo shoot. The rainbow-swirled sweet lollipops went perfectly with their striped PJs and added an extra element of fun and playfulness for the girls (not to mention sugar!).

I really love doing these types of relaxed mini sessions because they capture the true essence of the kid’s personalities. They’re able to let loose and be themselves. Isn’t everyone more comfortable in their pjs?! :) When kids (and parents) are having fun, the photos come out so much better, and you get to see their real smiles and laugher that comes from genuine joy. Sometimes a shorter, themed session is a great way to focus the kids energy and create amazing portraits.

And if the lollipops weren’t enough, we amped it up even more and ended the session with a dance party. These sisters loved it! I think all of us were a little sad when the session ended. Thanks for such a fun morning!
