Maryland Newborn Photographer | Year of the Pig!

We have had quite a few families bring little piggies props to their newborn portrait sessions this year. What a special year it is! The Pig is the twelfth of all Chinese zodiac animals. Pigs might not stand out in a crowd, but they are very realistic. They are energetic and are always enthusiastic, even for boring jobs, and they attract succsss in all spheres of life. If given the chance, they will take positions of power and status. We can’t wait to see this baby girl grow into a powerful woman one day, just like her mama!

This sweetheart is also a Valentines baby. Mom asked if we could incorporate flowers and hearts. She wanted to use very feminine and girly elements for her baby girl! I love mixing up a session with a combination of simple portraits as well as a meaningful elements.

I photographed big brother throughout his first year. It was so special to see them back at the Maryland photography studio again. He was so sweet with his little sister, holding her so gently and smothering her with kisses. What a fun family session it was – full of cuddles and giggles!
