Newborn & Family Photographer in Arlington, VA | Newborn Studio Session

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this sweet family since they first welcomed their oldest in 2022. Now, a few years later, they’re back in front of my camera with baby number two. Watching a family grow, and being trusted again and again to document such important milestones is an honor.

A Beautiful Studio Newborn Session in the Rockville, MD Studio

As a newborn and family photographer serving Maryland, Northern Virginia and the DC metro area, I’m always incredibly honored when families make the trip from places like Arlington, VA to my Rockville, Maryland studio. When a family chooses to return to me, it means the world. Welcoming this sweet family once again, now with the addition of their beautiful baby girl, was truly wonderful. I love watching families grow and seeing the tiny newborns I once photographed now grown as toddlers.

Styling for baby

Baby was gently swaddled in a soft, neutral wraps and wore a collection of delicate headbands that added the perfect feminine touch. Mom also brought a beautiful bow swaddle and a custom welcome banner, both of which added thoughtful, personal details to the session. These types of subtle props are a welcomed addition to your session, and bringing meaningful accessories can enhance your images without distracting from what truly matters: your baby and your connection as a family.

This session felt peaceful, intimate, and full of love. Baby slept amazing for most of the morning, which allowed us to capture a mix of snuggly family portraits, sibling photos, and individual newborn images that are soft, serene, and full of emotion. Big sibling was so proud and gentle. Plus I caught some adorable smiles and facial expressions while baby was awake at the end of the session!
