Color Palettes for Your Fall Photos Based On 2025 Pantone Trends

At Danielle Sara Photography, we adore incorporating autumn’s vibrant hues to bring our clients’ portraits to life. Each season, Pantone releases its top ten standout colors that fashion designers will showcase in their Autumn/Winter 2026 collections. Inspired by this season’s top 10 colors, I’ve curated some of our favorite fall inspired color palettes, designed to make your photos truly pop and capture the essence of the season.

How to choose a color palette:

Before selecting your outfits, think about where you plan to display your photos. Does your space feature a specific accent color? Is your living room bright and airy with whites and neutrals? Choosing colors that complement your home decor helps create a cohesive and timeless look, ensuring your images feel like a natural part of your space. If you've already invested in designing a particular area in your home (whether it’s soft pastels, earthy tones, or sleek modern monochrome) we can draw inspiration from that. Your photos will then seamlessly become an extension of the room, adding meaningful beauty to your environment. I love using my family portraits as a way to enhance and personalize seasonal decor.

How to choose what pieces for myself and family:

I recommend starting with Mom's outfit first (often the most challenging to choose!) and then coordinating the other family members around that, ensuring everyone looks put together without matching exactly.

Here are my top tips: avoid wearing lots of black, and steer clear of fluorescent colors, logos, or bold graphics on clothing. Also, be cautious with white; if you have fair skin or blonde hair, white can sometimes wash out your skin tone. It’s perfectly fine to use white as an accent color to add brightness without overpowering your look.
