Pink and Rose Gold Baby Girl Cake Smash

The sweetest baby girl and her mom visited our Rockville baby photography studio for an awesome birthday celebration and photoshoot! And by the amount of big smiles and laughs I captured on camera, I’d say that she couldn’t contain her excitement to get her photo taken and play with cake!

The blue floral dress she wore during the pre-cake photos turned out to be the perfect contrast to her red hair. She was a natural in front of the camera, just giving a mix of adorable poses and candid facial expressions.

For the cake smash theme, we opted for a fairly simple set up in bright and feminine colors! The color palette highlights pink, rose gold and white. Seen in baby girl’s sequin tulle dress and floral headband, as well as in the solid and confetti balloons along with the paper flowers. To match even more perfectly, we presented her big white cake on top of an elegant pink stand. All that was left to do was let the birthday girl dig in! Afterwards, I got to capture more of her joyful smiles during bath time.
