2022 Boy Cake Smashes

2022 was full of fun photo shoots with some adorable little boys! Each of them celebrated their big day of turning 1 with their very own cake smash in our Rockville Maryland photography studio. I had a great time collaborating with my clients to bring their vision to life. From color choice, to outfit suggestions, to props and backdrop ideas, we figured out all the details to create memories to treasure for years to come.

We can’t share all of the images we take throughout the year, but below are some highlights from this year’s boy cake smashes. It was so cute to capture these babies stuffing their faces and playing in their surroundings! From Earth Day and Ocean themes, to Space and Harry Potter themes, we definitely got creative when putting together these unique setups. Thanks so much to Sweet DC for baking these fantastic cakes that fit each backdrop perfectly!
