2022 Girl Cake Smashes

Another year is coming to a close, and I thought it would be the perfect time to reflect on some of the birthday cake smashes we had here in the studio! All throughout 2022, the most precious little girls came to celebrate turning 1 year old. I’m grateful to have captured some adorable smiles and laughs throughout each of their sessions. And of course, it has been a pleasure working together with my amazing clients to make their baby’s birthday super special. From color choice, to outfits, decor and backdrop, I walk you through the entire process using my Prepped to Perfection guide to set you up for success and achieve your unique vision.

We can’t share all of the images we take throughout the year, but below are just a few of my cake smash favorites for girls! Some popular themes we saw once again this year are light pinks, colorful balloons, and floral details. Also, let’s just appreciate how lovely these cakes are! A big thank you to Sweet DC for creating the perfect sweet treats for these little ones to dig into!
