Cooper is ONE!

I can't believe Cooper is turning one year old tomorrow! It's amazing how fast this year has gone by. There is something so special about a first birthday. I'm excited about the little boy he is becoming but want to hold on to the baby that he still is. Cooper's cake smash and first birthday party have been on my mind for a while. I've been scouring Pinterest and Etsy over the past months for ideas and inspiration. I wanted his smash to be fun and personal for him. Well, maybe a little bit for me too :)  I honestly had a hard time coming up with a plan for his smash. I went back and forth on ideas and decorations, bouncing ideas off of family over and over. It wasn't until we were at the beach earlier this summer when I realized what to do. He LOVES the beach!  All smiles in the water and loves playing in the sand and sun. With this in mind, Cooper had his very own cake smash on the beach!!

I'm so happy with the result and Cooper loved it too! A big thank you to my amazing sister Jessica and my friend Amanda. They made the awesome cake (as usual) and helped with the decorations.  They are the best.
