I love the pink and gold trend for baby girls right now. It is such a popular, classic, and elegant color theme. For this magical shoot, baby Londyn turned one year old, and her mom wanted lots of frills, bows, and girly accents to celebrate her gorgeous girl!

Customized Creations for Each Little Cutie

At our studio, we customize all of our cake smash sessions—I even hand-made the bows for this one! This was an extra special shoot for this family because it represents a huge milestone for their last baby.

I always give families a balanced collection of photos to use for different purposes. Maybe you don't want an enlarged portrait of your baby’s cake-smeared face above the fireplace (or maybe you do!), but it sure is a wonderful keepsake in an album, to give to family, or to put in baby's room to enjoy as they grown up.  I want to ensure that families also have timeless portraits that they are delighted to keep on their walls over the years. This is why we always start with those “clean” one year portraits to capture personality before smashing into the cake!
