Minimalist Pink & Neutral Floral Cake Smash

Some of my favorite cake smash sessions are the simple setups where the focus is on the baby’s personality! This happy little girl and her family came to our Rockville photography studio to celebrate her 1st birthday and we put together a simple backdrop with natural details for the cutest portraits. For her pre-cake photos, she wore an adorable cream lace onesie with a matching headband and I captured her personality playing, crawling around and giving the biggest smiles! When it was cake smash time, she got to dig into a delicious cake wearing a rose pink tulle dress and tiny “1” birthday crown. It matched so nicely against the hanging garland with light pink florals and eucalyptus, giving everything a minimal and delicate feel. Baby girl enjoyed bath time afterwards too!
