Newborn baby girl photography session at the Rockville Maryland studio!

This is baby number three for this sweet family and I could not have been more honored to photograph another beautiful baby miracle for them!  I decided to keep this newborn baby girl photography session simple, clean and white. These are my absolute favorites and we have been doing a lot of white color tones at the studio lately.  The focus is always all about the baby and the colors do not distract from other pieces in the home when displayed.  I always enjoy working with props and cute accessories, but they are not always needed to create beautiful newborn portraits. I have so many images of this newborn baby girl that I love! Below are a few of my favorites. I can’t wait to watch this little one grow and be so adored by her family and older siblings! xo

To book a session, contact me via email or phone. I would be honored to welcome you into our Rockville, Maryland studio to meet you and your family. To find out more information and reserve your due date on our studio calendar, please get in touch!

Maryland Photography Studio Before and After

I thought I’d share a fun little before and after today! A lot of work goes into creating the final images from each newborn session at our Maryland photography studio.

Bring me all the babies to snuggle!! But I also love the behind the scenes work when I sit at my computer and get to bring my creative vision to life.  Some babies have perfect porcelain skin and some do not.  The hormones, labor process, and overall sensitivity to a new environment make every baby’s skin react differently. Either way is ok and it eventually goes away!  My goal is to create a final image so that your baby looks just as you see them.  I try very hard not to over edit natural skin tones, birth marks, and any areas that would take away from the natural beauty of your baby.

We also take the utmost care with your baby during their newborn session when it comes to safety.  A baby that is one or two weeks old does not have the strength to hold up their own head. Sarah assists at newborn sessions to help with safety and posing so you can relax and enjoy your time at the studio. Editing out a spotter’s hand is part of the work that goes into turing your images into artwork and beautiful memories to look back on and enjoy.

Much love and attention to detail goes into your newborn session with me, from first inquiry through final delivery.

This adorable guy had some pretty bad baby acne when I saw him. Funny thing is, when he came back two weeks later to view his images, his skin was perfect! And this is how I want his parents to remember him 🙂

Three Month Baby Portraits at the Rockville Maryland Photography Studio

We all love sleepy newborn images in those first two weeks. But just because your baby is no longer a newborn doesn't mean you can't have adorable baby portraits!  Three month olds are a great age to photograph for baby portraits. They are still very baby, but are starting to show personality with smiles and wide eyes.  Three month olds like to sleep a lot, so we can usually capture precious sleeping images as well.  Beautiful Maryn's session was the perfect example of an adorable three month old baby portrait session! babyportraitsSleeping baby portraits in rockville marylandbaby portraits washington dc girl baby portraits rockville maryland sleeping baby portraitsnewborn baby portraitsstudio baby portraits

We love the gorgeous frames that Maryn's family selected to display their sweet girl's baby portraits!
